When Pumpkin finds Piper staring sadly into the mirror, disconsolate because of her short stature, she vows to help her little sister see herself as she truly is: one of God’s perfect creations.   With the help of her deceased father, Tobias, who travels from the other side to speak to Pumpkin in her dreams, the little girl learns how a Magic Camera that Tobias has left behind for his daughters can empower them to fulfill all their fondest wishes in life… including being tall.

Now, the voice was very strong.  And Pumpkin just knew it was telling her the truth.  But how could she tell this to  Piper?   How could she tell her little sister that, to be tall, she must first see herself as tall…from within?

"You must trust me, Piper,” Pumpkin answered. “You must believe that you are already tall...as tall as the birch trees of Gildaville that arch over and shelter you.  And you must do so in the absence of any physical proof.  Now, take my picture.”

So Piper steadied the Magic Camera by propping it up against her tummy and, pointing the lens at her sister, she clicked the shutter.
